It's supposed to get real cold this week.. like single digits wed and thurs nite...My problem is, we try to get our outside christmas decoration up during Thanksgiving week...I bet the ground will be frozen..makes putting spikes in the ground to hold the deer and stuff rather difficult...Oh well..eat well and nap!

the NEW flying turkey trot

Is that a drumstick in your pants or are you just glad to see me?

Propelled by the new viral video where dude proclaims "If you touch my junk, I will have you arrested" to the TSA guy, there is a growing backlash against these full body scanners or the full body pat downs at some airports. Because we need the extra precautions if we want to fly safely.

And of course Thanksgiving and the upcoming Christmas break are BIG flying holidays, there are going to be many who will discover the joys of the full body pat downs for the first time. Lucky them.

This will likely end up in a MUCH discussed argument over basic dignity and rights of travelers VS the right to be safe in the air. It seems that airlines have gone out of their way to make flying the LAST option for travel, what with higher costs, seemingly smaller seats and aisles, charges for baggage, crazy flight attendants (see Steven Slater) and downright rude passengers.

So..I guess we just have to make the best of it. If you are traveling by air this holiday season, just prepare yourself for the indignity of it all, and keep in mind the smiling faces of family and friends as the world is exposed to your innards on the scan, or as grandma gets felt up for the first time since WWII.

Hmmmm Greyhound is starting to sound pretty good afterall.

Happy Thanksgiving !!!

Hi Chuck Squire here
I finally got the rest of the leaves out of my yard..another 7, 45 gallon bags of leaves..I think all in all about 16 bags of leaves....Wow is my back sore...It's very cool to have the shade and greenery of these trees in the springs and summer...but the payback is having to rake up all the leaves in fall and winter.
I wish I had a hot tub!!!!

HiYa~ I must be having a mid-life crisis here because all of a sudden I have turned in to quite the health nut. I have quit smoking after 22years and am scared the first time I have a drink I will go back.. I have also been working on my body more in the last 4 weeks then I ever have in my life. I joined Farrell's Extreme BodyShaping and have taken off 2 inches on my belly and 5inches total on my body..I am more impressed that I shaved 2 min off my mile run. I am positive that by quiting smoking I will shave even more time off in the end. I don't know what has come over me but atleast these are good habits that I am taking on and ditching my bad ones.

Lots o rakin over the weekend..We've got 2 huge trees..1 in the front another in the back...both about 25 years old ..so there are very big.. lots o leaves...This past Sat I raked up 4 piles of leaves around both trees.. ran over 'em with a lawn mower with a grass cather bag ....filled up 8(40 gallon ) trash bags...then Sun the wind started blowin...and my yard looked like I hadn't raked 1 leaf......So I am waitin for this cold snap this week ,so hopefully all the leaves with fall and I'll be done until next year...

HiYa~ Well almost 4 weeks into my training with Farrell's Extreme Body Workout and I can see the difference in my body. I have gained some solid weight but yet my clothes are falling off of me. It is the most bizzaro thing. My size 8's will eventually turn into size 6's and I will feel the way I look, Great. The only thing I can never understand is why people who you always see at work and in life will never ever compliment you (not for nothing) but then you have that one person that no matter what you look like always tells you just how pretty you really are. I will take that one compliment everyday and forget everyone else.
Much Love

Hi Chuck Squire here
This past Sunday, Halloween, I went up the the Denver Art Museum to see King Tut.It was very cool...Harrison Ford was the narrator. Lots o gold and carvings from the tomb of King Tut .He was only 19 when he died.
Then came home.. handed out a bunch of candy to trick or treaters...then watched Beetlejuice with Michael Keaton..Hope your Halloween was safe and fun. (above pix of me and a friend at Mr Biggs BOO BASH)
