hey hey hey
Chuck Squire here...the Broncos blew chunks Sunday night..I love the Broncos....but I think we need to play in a girls league.
HiYa- Hope you had a nice Christmas and are looking to the New Year to bring you health, happiness and well let's face it extra bucks... I spoke about my Christmas present on the air and am so happy about it I am bringing it here through my blog... I got the Animal Dyson DC-17 vacuum cleaner! OMG, this is the baddest mama jama ever.. I often thought that my little dirt devil did the job but with four dogs going in and out along with myself I hadn't seen nothing yet. I can't quite vacuuming, it's the funniest thing you ever did see. I am vacuuming from top to bottom and for the first time I feel as if my carpets are clean.. I strongly recommend a Dyson Animal Vac for all of my four legged friend lovers:) My goal in the New Year is to Meet Mr. Dyson and Thank him!
Much Love

Back from Florida!! Actually, it was more a take of family than it was a vacation so it is more than good to be back. Yes, I did miss the sub-zero weather here in the Springs, so that was a bonus. Also counldn't help but notice that South Florida Radio sucks! Unless of course you are into salsa music.

In the meantime, got lots of reviews and pictures from the Feliz-Navi-Fun Grand Prize party Gina and Chuck hosted while I wasout, and congratulations to KKFM Workforce Member Beth Wilde who is going to Cancun, Mexico for a little fun in the sun!

Are you ready for Christmas? As usual, I don't think I have got anything yet.. 2 days to go, right on schedule! *g-g-g* If you have really dedicated Workforce member on your list, go check out the KKFM store.. you can even get a custom thing thee! Chuck Squire got one, he LOVES it!

HIYA- I feel so bad for not blogging lately that the guilt finally got me here:( I had a lovely vacation. My travels took me through Atlanta into Nashville and back to Atlanta. I got to see my brother and sister and my best bud Mud. It was exhausting though going through security at the airports but I got really good at undressing before I ever had to go through the security machine! Once I got back to Colorado, my folks came in from the Bahamas and just left today.. It was a wonderful visit and they bought me a new vaccume cleaner.. You can imagine with four dogs I go through vaccumes like underwear haaaahaaa! Other than the above I have just been super busy with work.. We had a blast at On The Border for our big Feliz Navi Fun giveaway.. Thanks again to FunJet for making this happen and Congrats to Beth Wilde our big winner.. I would do just about anything right now to board the plane with here since it has been so bitter cold here.. I would rather be on the beaches of Cancun with a Margarita in hand:) Till next time....

HiYa-
Last night was so Awesome!! I had never seen AC/DC in concert and let me tell you they were everything I thought they would be and MORE! When they played Shoot To Thrill you could see everyone was feelin' the song.. They had a blow up Rosie Doll sitting on the massive train that was used as the back drop.. A Huge ass AC/DC bell came down for Hells Bells. The cannons, the music, the crowd... I am just saying the Pepsi Center was on FIRE last night. Congratulations to our KKFM Workforce members that won tickets to the show, I know you were lovin' it last night.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I am leaving for vacation and wish you a wonderful week to come!

up-date...

Hit the Gold Rush last Saturday with Chuck Squire from the Bob&Tom Morning show. That's ALWAYS and adventure. We went up to give away AC/DC tickets and hang with the folks...so Chuck gets a h0ld of the house mic and says, "Anybody who's wearing their underwear on their head gets a limited edition KKFM-AC/DC T-Shirt!" 5 people were at the table in the next 10 minutes with underwear on their heads! {Who'd-a-thunk-it!?} And you know... most people should keep their underwear where it belongs *g-g-g*

Great time as always at the Gold Rush... if you are headed out there, the 1 Haywire Delux dollar slot has been hitting well and the dollar progressives 2 rows in have been hitting 3-4 jackpots a day! Unfortunately, I'm not the only one who noticed, because they are always taken by people that are camped out at them with hundreds to blow, so good luck getting on one! The wife hit $350 and got up and the next guy hit $2400 in the next 10 minutes. Ain't that always the way!

Great Crowd at Hooters last night for the Guitar Hero competition for AC/DC tickets! Then again, when ISN'T Hooters fun!?

AC/DC show in less than a week! Got your tickets? Keep listening... KKFM has more! See you at the show!

Rock On!

HiYa-I am so not good at Guitar Hero haaahaaa! This past Wednesday was the first pair of AC/DC tix that went out our of hands and into your's at Hooters at the Citadel Mall. Krista the Coor's Light girl that schooled me in Guitar Hero is seen here playing me while I just look focused! A KKFM Workforce Member named Bill Ball ended up winning the tix and I think there were good times had by all:) Ps.. It is cold as hell today BRRRR!

HiYa- Each and every home game for the Airforce Falcons is spent with an awesome pre-game warm up party at The Dublin House. Coors Light provides the free beer and The Dublin House always puts out a great spread of food. The last home game is this Saturday so the Warm Up party is this Thursday from 6-8pm. Hope to see you out supporting our Airforce Falcon Football Team.

Coda's ramblings....

Somebody has given me a place to type my thoughts! *wow* who thought that up?!

I want to start my first shot at this with a big Thank You to the Pikes Peak Harley Owners Group for the Children's Hospital at Memorial Toy Run last Sunday. You guys always put together a well run event and this was no exception! These are the kind of things that makes me proud KKFM can be a part of. Thank you as well goes to all who came out for it! The weather was great and we filed a U-Haul worth toys for the kids! Be watching on my page for pictures that Rick promised he would be sending of the event.

The Holidays are always the busy season for us and this season is no exception! We just wound-up the KKFM Workforce bonus and have launched into AC/DC! In the studio, we have been getting calls since they were on sale if we had tickets and when we would be letting go of them, well... HERE WE GO! Are you a gamer? Guitar Hero aces have a good shot at winning them not once but twice! If you're like me and the only game that you play is the occasional slot machine, make it out to The Gold Rush this Saturday night (11/15) because Chuck Squire and I are heading up there with AC/DC tickets and all you have to do is drop your name in a box! The best part... this is no where near all that we have to go through before the show 11/25th! If you didn't get your AC/DC tickets before they sold out, stay close... chances are good you'll get them here. And you won't have to go any farther than Denver to see them! ;-)

Last but not least, starting next week KKFM is qualifying workforce members to win a trip to Cancun! And then it's Trans Siberian Orchestra on the 4th of December! *whew* If you can't find somebody to go to Cancun with you, call me up! After the next 3-4 weeks, I'll be needing a break!

Rock On!!

HiYa I am having an awesome time with my friend Youseff in town.. We go back 15 years and it's awesome that he is here for a visit, he flew in from Ft. Myers. Florida. He is also my CPA which keeps in all in the Italian family even though he isn't Italian. Here are some pics of Yoi's Vacation Colorado 2008! CSI doesn't have anything on FCI:) It was really cool, at the Bronco's Dolphin's game we rode the elevator with Greg Gumble and Dan Dierdorf. I have some really cool friends in Duane, Pete, Mike, Debbie, Steve, and Amy over at Coor's and they helped to hook my first Bronco's experience up. They truly are the best! Here is to my friend Yoi!

HiYa
Well things are really busy here at KKFM. We not only have our KKFM Workforce Payroll Bonus going on daily but tomorrow night it's ZZ Top live at the Pikes Peak Center. Then on Friday the whole staff goes over to a winner's house to Rock Out With Your Spook Out. My good friend Yoi is flying in from Florida so I will be bringing him along.. He doesn't need a costume since he looks like a young Eric Estrada:) Hope you are having a Grateful Day!

Morning before Pikes Peak Harley Remote

HiYa
Had an awesome remote live broadcast at the brand new Dutch Brothers Coffee yesterday. It seemed like at one point there were cars as far as the eye could see. I thought they had good coffee selections and was pretty AMPED after I left:) Anyways, today I am doing my thing before I head onto Pikes Peak Harley from 3-5pm. What a GREAT Saturday event.. It may be one of the truly last good days of the season to get some miles in. Hope to see you out there ridin'! Here is a cute pic my guy took of me and two of our four dogs. Niki, Nigel, & Gina!

Bob & Tom Comedy All Star Show

Hiya, I went to the Bob & Tom Comedy All Star show last night at the Pikes Peak Center. I took a handful of Workforce members down to meet the comedians and we had so much fun. It is always super cool when you get to meet people you listen to everyday on the radio. The audience was really interactive with Chick McGee and all the comedians and I can't wait for them to come back next year:)
